Read about Emily's rewarding experience whilst working with Network Nursing Agency:

What do you enjoy the most about working with NNA?

I am so glad to work with NNA as they are a supportive and fabulous team. The best part about working with NNA is that the team is professional and efficient. They help me choose the shifts I want and everyone has a positive attitude to help me solve any problems I may have. They are so warm and make you feel safe and supported.

Tell us about a rewarding experience you’ve had whilst working with Network Nursing Agency?

I have had many rewarding experiences whilst working with NNA, but I will always remember when I was allocated to a mental health clinic. A lady was tearful that day and I was given the opportunity to have a rather long conversation with her. she was so grateful to me. She spoke so kindly of me to the other nursing staff on duty. Then, when I was allocated to that clinic again, the staff passed on her grateful words and everyone continued to remembered me and work I had done.

What makes you passionate about nursing?

I feel very rewarded working as a nurse. While the job can be challenging, I learn new and different things from my colleagues and patients. As I am constantly learning and strengthening my skills, I can be more confident and competent to solve problems by utilising that new knowledge.

Amazing work Emily and thank you for sharing such a touching and memorable moment with us. We can't wait to have another fantastic year with you.

Recently, we caught up with Joseph Semaan who we previously introduced to you as our Customer Engagement Manager. But we wanted to reintroduce you to him and his new role at NNA Direct Support Service. Joseph is now our Business Development Consultant based in Western Sydney and has been with us since November 2021. He has over 5 years of experience in the disability sector and has been great to have on the team. What do you see as the biggest opportunity for disability support providers? To reach more participants and assist them to live more independently and improve their well-being and quality of life. Biggest challenge for the disability support sector? Firstly, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) not responding quick enough to plan reviews, impacting participants care. Also, the risk of organisations not meeting professional standards to provide model care to participants. What are some fun facts about you? I have a Diploma in Remedial Massage and ran a business for over 12 years. What are you most excited about for in 2023? Professionally, I am excited to continue to expand the business and help as many people as possible. Personally, watching my daughter grow and celebrate her 1 st birthday. If you or someone you know is looking for support in Sydney, please get in touch with Joseph on LinkedIn here .
